For today’s look I’m styling two spring trends, gingham and denim. Let me just forewarn you that you will be seeing me in these high waist denim shorts a lot this spring and summer. I’ve finally found a pair of shorts that I think are not only flattering but super comfortable. I plan to try and style them as many ways as I can so you can see exactly how versatile one pair of denim shorts can be.
This gingham top was a good find from the Who What Wear collection for Target. I seem to always find something from them that I love and decide I don’t want to live without! I love the length and volume of this top in contrast with the shorts. Rather than showing off the button front detail all you see is a little denim peeking out the bottom of this blouse.
To give my legs the look of even more length I wore my flatforms from Marc Fisher which are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They’re so easy to walk in. I bought them over a year ago and Marc Fisher keeps bringing them back each season in different colors because they’re that good!
This colorful clutch is a nice compliment to my blue gingham top. Orange and blue are such a great color combo but one I don’t wear all that often. This clutch was part of my Fab Fit Fun box I received from being their partner for their Spring box. I love the bright orange color with the floral print. It’s a plus that it’s reversible so that I can have either the solid or the print pop out. Since the only way you could get this clutch was in the Fab Fit Fun box exclusively designed by Rachel Pally I sourced some on eBay that people are currently selling.
