One of my favorite places to go in New York is Central Park. It is seriously one of the most beautiful parks and when you’re there you forget about all of the hustle and bustle of the city that is around you. When I visit NYC I typically stay at a friends house on Park Avenue and 87th so it’s a quick and easy walk to Central Park. I couldn’t leave the city from this last visit for New York fashion Week without spending at least a little bit in Central Park. My mom and I had taken a pedicab through the park one afternoon after some fashion shows since I had a few hours in between my next show and I wanted to kick off my heels and take a cat nap before changing and going back out to Lincoln Center. On the Monday before we left after running some errands we decided to take a stroll through the park. It was the first time in a week that I left my heels at home and stepped out in sandals during the day. It felt so good to dress down. I wanted to be as comfortable as possible so I chose to wear my softest oversized top and silk floral shorts, both oldies but goodies. The sandals are my moms, but work so perfectly that I had to borrow them.
