My name is Laura Adney and I have been a fashionista my whole life. I started styling myself at a very young age and have always known what styles work and don’t work on me. I have always enjoyed shopping for myself and others. My first client for personal styling would have to be my mother! I have been styling my mother ever since I was a small child, helping her pick out everything from her outfits to shoes and accessories. I would go shopping with my mom and get her to try on clothes she may not have otherwise tried to only find the fit, pattern, and/or color worked perfectly with her body and skin complexion.
I have a great understanding of color and know what colors work with what skin color, hair color and eye color. You may not think a color works for you, like yellow with blondes or fair skin, but I say you just haven’t found the right shade!
I understand that in your busy lives it sometimes or all the time might be hard to find time to go shopping or even think about what you are going to wear for an event until the last minute, leaving you no time to shop! This has been me for the last few years, working at a start-up in Silicon Valley, left me very little me time. I barely had time to plan a dinner let alone a weekend away, and then there was always the part about what to wear! Instead of enjoying the shopping process I was becoming more and more stressed with my time constraints. I am here to make sure this doesn’t happen to you!
I have had experience styling women and men of different ages, shapes, and sizes. I take a consultative and friendly approach to personal styling. Think of me as your stylish friend that you go to for fashion advice.
