I have been having a lot of fun doing try-on sessions on Instagram stories to share my favorite finds for different retailers. I did a poll on Instagram not too long ago and the majority were asking for an Amazon Fashion Haul. So while I was able to already share some of these pieces on Instagram I wanted to do a full haul here on the blog. I’m going to be sharing my honest opinion, like I always do! Below are the amazing Amazon Fashion finds all under $30! At the very bottom I’m also going to share some of the not so amazing finds because let’s face it, shopping affordable fashion on Amazon is hit or miss. And even I am not immune to a few fashion misses every now and again!
Amazing Amazon Fashion Finds:
This top is under $25 and the detailing on it is so good! I love this top because it’s super easy breezy and will work all spring and summer long. I can definitely see me taking this on a tropical vacation this summer (destination still TBD). It is an oversized fit. I’m wearing a size small. So much room but that’s the look!
How cute is this romper?! I’m wearing a size small. I’m just so happy that the straps are adjustable! Another plus, even though it’s super lightweight material, the romper isn’t see-through. It’s also just under $22!! Talk about a steal! One thing to note, in the pictures online it looks like the top has a twist knot detail, but it definitely doesn’t. Just want to let you know since I don’t want anyone confused when they click on the link and the romper online looks slightly different then the one I’m wearing. This is the exact romper I ordered it just don’t have that detail as shown online.
You probably notice this jumpsuit from this post. I am so pleased with this jumpsuit. It’s perfect for spring and summer. I love the ruffle rick rack as well as the button detail up the front. I’d say it runs true to size. I’m wearing a size small. The bottoms are a little see-through but as long as you wear neutral underwear you’ll be fine. When I first tried it on straight out of the packaging, I was wearing a bright blue pair and you could definitely see it. But for only $25 this jumpsuit is a major win!! Get, ready to see this on me more than a few times this spring/summer season!
I ordered this dress in a size medium since going off of the size guidelines that is the size that would have fit me best. But after trying it on, I definitely should have ordered a size small. That’s why in these pictures I’m wearing a belt with it. There was so much extra room up top. So, if you’re like me and often times need to size up to fit your chest or ribcage, I’d say you don’t need to in this dress. But, it’s under $20 and looks way more expensive! It’s close to a Veronica Beard dress that I love. You might remember this long sleeve version that I wore during NYFW from Veronica Beard. Let me know if you see the resemblance!
This dress comes in a maxi dress as well as a mini version. Since I’ve been looking for a fun maxi dress I decided to try it on in the maxi version. I love the print and the dress fits great but I definitely think for me, it would be better in the mini version. I returned this dress and ordered the same color/print in the mini version. Will share with you how it looks once I receive it. Wearing a size small and I’d say it’s true to size. This dress comes in at $30 and the mini version I believe is $24!
Not like I really needed anymore swimsuits but I found a few that I couldn’t resist. This one is darling and the straps are removable. I’m wearing a size small and it fits great! This swimsuit material is thicker which I love and definitely helps suck in your stomach (ie mom pooch). I can’t wait to wear this swimsuit this season!! PS it’s only $21 and by the look and feel of it, it could definitely pass for a much more expensive swimsuit brand.
Another swimsuit I couldn’t resist ordering. I was a little weary of it only because of the arms. I have bigger arms so sometimes this style doesn’t fit or isn’t comfortable…ie it squeezes my arms too much. I’m happy to report that this swimsuit does not do that. There is plenty of give and room in the arms to fit someone like me who doesn’t have thin arms. I am obsessed with the print too. The material isn’t as thick as the swimsuit above but it still fits great. I’m wearing a size small.
Now For My Not So Amazing Amazon Fashion Finds:
I really wanted this top to work. I wish it was just a little more fitted and that the material was a bit nicer. There was a big gap in the front so from the side you could see right through to my skin. Also, you might be able to see the one side is flaring out at the bottom. This was bothering me because the sides weren’t even. I am obsessed with the print and love the idea of this top, it just didn’t fit me right. I’m wearing a size small for reference. The description does say that it’s an oversized top but from the photos they have of the product it still looks like the fit is a bit different than how it is on me when I tried it on.
This romper was such a bust! I had high hopes for it because the print and details of this romper are just so cute. Sadly, it’s not designed for anyone with a chest. Or at least, that’s the conclusion I came to. It is a wrap style romper in the sense that you have to tie the straps around yourself and there’s nothing for them to tie into. I couldn’t get them to be tight enough around my chest that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything showing or popping out. I don’t know how they got it to fit so well on the model so just be aware that the images are deceiving. Wearing a size small for reference.
How cute does this swimsuit look? Cute, right! Well it might look cute but it was seriously the most uncomfortable swimsuit ever. It reminded me of Becca Swim swimsuits that I adore so I had to give this under $22 version a try. All I have to say is that there is a reason you pay more for Becca Swim! The material just didn’t have enough give and felt like it was cutting in at all the wrong places. I was also super concerned when taking it off that the material would pull or rip. I tried a size small (my normal size) and think that even if I were to try sizing up that it would probably then be loose in certain spots.
I hope you enjoyed this Amazon Try-On haul post. I’ve got another one coming up on Instastories later this week with a group of bloggers I think you’re going to love. We’re all trying on the same pieces so that you can see how they look on different body types. You’ll get to see what each of us thinks about each piece too so hopefully you’ll get an understanding for how consistent (or not consistent) purchasing from Amazon Fashion can be!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!
