While I haven’t been to Coachella, I have been to many other outdoor music festivals and with the kick-off of festival season this past weekend at Coachella I decided to put together three very different festival inspired looks.
Outfit 1 – I decided to wear a crochet coverup over my bandeau bikini top and boyfriend jean shorts. This open crochet mini is great for warmer days but allows you to be a little more modest than just walking around in your bikini top and since this isn’t the beach wearing shorts underneath is a must in my opinion until, of course, you take a dip in the pool to cool off!
Outfit 2 – When I think of outdoor music festivals I think of fringe. I think that if you can incorporate fringe somewhere in your outfit, you should. That’s why for my second outfit I decided to feature my favorite Rebecca Taylor fringe sweater. Now I know it can be scorching hot during the day but when the sun starts to go down it gets cool, even in the desert.
Outfit 3 – When it turns to Spring, I like most people, gravitate towards floral prints. These silk shorts have been a staple in my closet for years and are great for a hot day. Pairing them with a solid airy silk top and nude boots for a feminine ensemble suitable for any outdoor festival.
