You know the phrase “the devil is in the details,” well when shopping at Marshall’s or even a consignment shop it’s the details you should be on the look out for when scouring the racks. It can take an awful long time to find the diamond in the rough at places like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, who’s racks are stuffed to the brim, Fillmore & 5th, or Afterwards, both peninsula consignment shops, but if you have an eye for detail and quality it’s actually not too hard to spot a winner. Last week I made a trip to the local Home Goods/TJ Maxx and ended up leaving with much more than I expected. I went in for one specific item and left with well a loot of goodies. I was so excited for all my Fab Finds that I could hardly wait to wear them. The crochet details on the blouse are amazing. I love the delicate detailing down the front of the blouse. It’s perfect for summer and can easily be dressed up or down. I paired it with my grey pinstriped shorts I snagged at Anthropologie a few years back. They are a total keeper and I don’t see myself parting with them any time soon! The sandals were also a part of that same score at TJ Maxx. My eyes were drawn to the two tone sandals and at closer look I could see that the leather was very high quality and made in Italy. The ankle straps have a metallic shimmer to them, that I love. And then there’s the Dooney and Bourke floral clutch with leather tassel. I don’t know what else to say then, it was love at first sight. I just knew I had to have it, and that it would work with so much. All together this outfit, if you ask me, is fantastic, but there are so many combinations just waiting to happen!
