This weekend I spent a lot of time with the family. Memorial Day weekend was spent outdoors updating the patio, creating my DIY pique assiette table top featured here, and celebrating the May birthdays in my family (mom, brother and grandma.) I chose this Azzedine Alaïa Paris tank and skirt, which has been in my closet for quite a while but haven’t had the right opportunity to wear them until now. Originally I was going to pull them out for my bridal shower or rehearsal dinner but ended up finding other options so the set has been patiently waiting its turn.
I decided to go with a geometric theme and wear my BCBG crop jacket. The colors worked well together and the triangles and vertical lines tie them together. To throw everything off I decided on my Angela Adams clutch. With its organic pattern it broke up the otherwise geometric outfit. As you all should know by now, I am not afraid of patterns.
I think the colors are enough to make it all work, but what do you think?
