I wore this outfit to a holiday party the other week! It was the first of the season. I chose these green lace pants because I felt they were festive and fun but still super practical and would keep me warmer than if I was in a dress. As a mom to a toddler, I also thought these would be perfect for Christmas since I know I’ll be running around with him and bending down to pick him up when he’s crashed on the floor! (For what could be for a number of reasons). So, pants often time makes a lot more sense than dresses for me at this stage of motherhood.
My white clip dot blouse you’ve seen me wear a number of times. Most recently I styled it here two different ways. I think this outfit would be perfect for a work holiday party, a great look to wear to church this holiday season, and would also be a great option for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (depending on when you celebrate with your family), especially if you’re a mom for all the reasons I had mentioned above!
One thing to note: These pants said they ran small and to size up, so I did. There’s a lot of extra fabric around the hips on me and so I probably could have been able to get away with my normal size. I may just take them in at the hips, or leave it be and not worry about it. So if you’re unsure, I would order them in two sizes since you can always return them thanks to free shipping and free returns!
