This Free People yellow floral duster caught my eye immediately when I was shopping for our trip to Catalina Island. At first I was trying to decide how I would style it. I could leave it unbuttoned and style with a basic white tank top and a pair of shorts or jeans or I could button it up and add some soft lace via my blush lace bodysuit with my high waist jeans. Both options would be super cute and I definitely plan on wearing this yellow floral duster a lot this Spring and Summer so expect to see me style it multiple ways!
This outfit was by far my most complimented outfit that I wore during our trip. I’m always pleasantly surprised by the people who end up commenting on what I’m wearing. Everyone loved the bright yellow floral print. I love how flowy it is and I felt like I was wearing a silk robe out in public.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am all about the tropical vibes and everything I bought for this trip was either floral or pinstripe. This yellow floral duster is a total statement piece and while it stands out and will be obvious when I wear it over and over again, it works with some much in my closet. This allows me to reuse/re-wear pieces that have otherwise been set to the side and give them new life when they’re paired with this beauty.
The last thing I’ll say about this outfit is that it couldn’t have fit in better with the tropical vibes of our hotel on Catalina Island. It’s as if I purchased this with the landscaping in mind…I very well might have 😉
