So as you may have read on one of my recent instagram posts, I have decided that for the next six months I will not be purchasing any new clothes. That may sound crazy to you but I’ve been an Unlimited member of Rent the Runway for what I now know is almost two years (not one) but still have been purchasing a lot of new clothes making for a very large monthly clothing budget! So to help with our finances and to honestly make smarter purchasing decisions I will not be getting anything new and working the clothes I already have in my closet with my Unlimited subscription. That being said, you can expect to see a lot more posts like this one in the future. I’ve always wanted to do a piece like this so I am happy that I’m kicking it off in 2017!
I find it hard sometimes to reimagine my wardrobe but when I take a little time to really look at what I have, I realize there are endless possibilities of ways to wear what I own. I figure, you may be in the same situation, where you wake up in the morning and think that you have nothing to wear, when in fact you of course have a lot to wear (a closet full in fact) but are tired of wearing the same combinations. I also know that in the morning it can be tough to come up with something new when you’ve slept in and are trying to get out the door for work. So here’s what will hopefully inspire you to reimagine and rework your closet with ten pieces, ten outfits. It’s like a mini wardrobe capsule collection. And as you could probably guess, adding accessories like jewelry, handbags, and scarves to these ten pieces would make it easy to get way more than ten outfits.
