Ok, so I have seen this peplum sweater floating around Amazon for over a year. It first popped up on my radar after I purchased this sweater dress, because it was similar in style and became a recommended product. I loved how thick the sweater dress was and so I was hoping the sweater would have the same weight. I kept putting off ordering it and finally this year decided it was time to get it to review myself.
A few things to note about the sweater:
1) even though its not from the same brand/seller on Amazon it is in fact the same sweater material as my sweater dress.
2) the back detail is also the same and can be stretched to wear off one shoulder or both shoulders but also looks nice worn evenly on both shoulders.
3) this sweater is going to fit best on people with short torso’s. I have a short torso and felt the need to pull it down every once and a while, even with high waist pants.
4) that being said, I LOVE the peplum detail and the faux wrap design (just like with the dress).
5) I would totally buy this sweater again in another color. It’s great for wearing with jeans, skirts, or even other a sleeveless summer dress to extend it into fall and winter.
