This houndstooth dress was a quick pick me up at Target recently. I feel like sometimes us mamas need a little escape and Target seems to be the place where Mason and I both have fun! And, for the most part he will stay seated in the shopping cart!! We have this ritual when we go to Target to start at the Starbucks inside. I get him one of his favorite food pouches by Peter Rabbit Organics. I always let him pick between the green or pink pouch (apple and grape or strawberry and banana) and before we even get to the register for me to order my coconut milk latte he’s already finished it.
Next we head out to do our shopping and first thing I always walk by and check out the clothes…not like I need anything new but I always justify it because the prices are so good. I don’t feel guilty coming home with a top or dress or new pair of shoes (or all of the above) and Justin doesn’t seem to mind either. The price is right all around!
Anyway, you all seemed to really like this dress when I posted a sneak peek of it on my Instagram and I promised a full outfit of how I styled this dress and so here it is! As you can probably tell, this rust red suede moto jacket has been a favorite of mine since I got it just in time for NYFW. I just love the pop of color and it works so well with my fall wardrobe. I know as we head into winter I’ll be styling it more and more because it’s a great layering piece…just can’t wear it in the rain, because SUEDE!
I’ve also gotten more than my money’s worth out of my suede OTK boots. I bought them last year on sale and am so happy that I did. They are a splurge, but well worth it in my opinion! Especially for the comfort and the amount of wear I’ve gotten out of them and will continue to get out of them year after year. There are some great dupes available so I will be sharing those below along with the updated version of these boots since my exact pair isn’t available anymore (these are the Highland boots but now they have the Hiline boots). Thankfully, Stuart Weitzman is always updating and perfecting, though I am more than obsessed with my pair!
