Our lives are high tech, we have the latest technology when it comes to our phones, laptops, tablets, etc. so why not have the latest in technology for our home. Justin and I had changed out some of our outlets to be USB only because over half of our electronics use USB and to cut down on the bulk it was so much easier to just plug in direct without an adapter. But to take it a hundred steps further we’ve decided to upgrade all of our switches and outlets for the latest most high tech options out there. The adorne collection from Legrand takes light switches and outlets to the next level. They have a sleek design that is very modern, looks great, and acts very similarly to an iPhone.
With their collection of designer faceplates and switches and outlets available in white or magnesium it allows you to really transform what is normally boring and quite frankly an eyesore and turing them into a feature in your home. The other weekend I had our friend who is also an electrician come and help me swap out all of our switches and outlets in our living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. I love how easy they make it for you to update everything, we honestly didn’t need him to do it, but Justin is busy seven days a week between, work, the Marines, and his Fire Academy so I enlisted the best of the best to help knock it out. I love that the switches are a square design, flush to the faceplate, and looks amazing. Honestly, I never thought I would get so excited about switches and outlets but when we were getting them installed I was so excited!
