It’s that time of year again, summer is winding down and back to school shopping is well underway. I’ve got back to school on my mind as I may be going back to school soon! I’m waiting to hear if I get accepted into this one program and if I do, then I’ll be right there with all the other college students shopping for some new clothes for class and for studying.
As an adult, back to school shopping turns into fall shopping and many of us have probably already gotten our fair share of new items during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But there are so many great finds for fall and back to school at Santana Row! I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite stores for back to school shopping for teachers, moms, and kids and my top picks from each store.
LOFT
I often forget about Ann Taylor LOFT. I’m not exactly sure why but every time I go into their store on Santana Row I am always reminded that they have such cute things. They have a great collection of tops and their denim styles right now are so on point. Moms, you deserve to do some Back to School shopping too and LOFT is the place where you should go!
Lou & Grey
Lou & Grey is under the same company as Loft. They’ve got a great selection of basic, classic pieces in neutral colors and everything is SO soft! I love their swing dresses and the super soft jogger style sweatpants. You can back to school shop here if you’re a student or a teacher. There will be something that works with your style.
Madewell
I’ve known about Madewell for a long time but haven’t really gotten into them until recently. They’ve got great on trend pieces that are, you guessed it, made well! They generally keep within a neutral color and print palette and have a great selection of denim all at reasonable prices. They also have great leather goods like totes and backpacks, perfect for Back to School.
Splendid
I am a HUGE fan of Splendid, I mean HUGE! I love wearing their clothing. Everything is so soft and well made. It’s pretty much all I wanted to wear last summer while I was pregnant because the clothes fit great and felt like I was wearing PJ’s. I think that when you’re thinking Back to School shopping and all the studying you will inevitably be doing that Splendid is the perfect brand to be wearing so you can be comfortable and stylish while cramming for exams, working on a project, or even sitting in class. Another beauty of Splendid, you can shop for yourself and your kids all in one place. I love their clothing for Mason.

H&M
H&M has great clothes for women but also an incredible selection of kids clothes at great prices! Since kids grow out of their clothes so quickly H&M is a great place for all your Back to School clothes shopping needs. Girls clothes no matter where you shop are going to be cute but to find good stylish boy clothes is a bit harder and H&M has a great selection of boys clothes for all ages.
