I know I posted about Mason’s nursery design before but we’ve since updated it by adding in a new crib that’s part of a collaboration between Carter’s and DaVinci and some new decor pieces to help round out his space and add some pops color. I absolutely love how it turned out and I feel like Mason really enjoys his room.
The Carter’s by DaVinci crib is awesome because it is a convertible crib lending itself to long time use and is made with sustainable materials. It’s constructed with sustainable wood, and finished with non-toxic materials which is super important to me. This crib is the Connor 4-in-1 Convertible Crib and goes from a crib to toddler bed, daybed, and then full-size bed. The extensions are sold separately but it’s so nice to have as Mason’s grows. I love the classic design and it was really easy to assemble. Thankfully all cribs take the same size mattress so I didn’t have to go out a buy a new one.
Now that Mason is almost 11 months old we’ve accumulated a big collection of toys and books so adding in cute storage pieces is a nice way to keep his room looking clean and put together when he’s not busy pulling everything out to play with during the day.
I just also had to share a couple pictures of how messy his room can get during the day so you get a sense of what our life really looks like in comparison to just showing it when it’s all tidy. I love Mason so very much and it makes my heart happy to see him happy playing with his toys and trying to open and read his books on his own.
