If you’re like me then on Valentine’s Day you will be at home with the baby and hubby. There’s still no reason why you can’t be in the V-Day spirit with a casual Valentine’s Day outfit. When I’m lounging at home or out running errands I like to be comfortable. These high waist jeans from Paige are so comfortable. I have them in denim with an undone hemline and these beauties in red. This cozy sweater is only $39. I absolutely love how soft it is and the double-v detail is really cute. It’s see-through because of the loose knit and pale pink color so it is necessary to layer it with a cami. I love this one from Express because of the detail in the front. You could also wear it with a cute lace bralette for a little more luxe loungewear for your significant other.
I got these slides for NYFW last September thanks to my collaboration with Donald J. Pliner on Santana Row. They were super comfortable to travel in and they also made for the perfect shoe for a little stop at this very instagram-worthy location. I love the blush fur and it worked perfectly with my pale pink sweater and bright red jeans for a casual Valentine’s Day outfit.
Talking about Valentine’s Day and what every woman really wants! It’s not things, it’s experiences. I’d always take a staycation or getaway over something sweet or a new top. So my recommendation for a great Valentine’s Day staycation if you’re in the Bay Area is Hotel Valencia on Santana Row! I absolutely love this hotel. I’ve stayed there a few times, met friends for cocktails at their bar, and attended a few events that they’ve hosted. Their hospitality is AMAZING!! They literally are so accommodating.
One time I stayed there it was because I was out with friends and then there was a torrential downpour and I was not about to drive back up to SF that night. I also had Lexie and Jackson with me (thankfully they’re registered service dogs) but I wasn’t prepared for an overnight stay and didn’t have food for them for dinner. The Valencia Hotel grilled some chicken for them without using any seasoning for dinner and then again the next morning for their breakfast. I was blown away by their customer service. PS Their beds are so comfortable I didn’t want to leave the next day and neither did the pups!!
