Day four I was finally feeling like myself again. The nausea I was feeling going down the elevator was pretty much gone. Sunday was my lightest day and even though I stayed through Monday, it was my last day of shows and events this NYFW season. Star Cashmere Sweater and Leopard Print Skirt
If I had to pick a theme for my outfits this NYFW it would have to be print mixing! For all you long time readers you know that I have always been a big fan of print mixing but with motherhood has come simplification most days and so I haven't been able to print mix as much as I'd like. Claudia Li FW19
Just like with Badgley Mischka, I was able to go backstage with Redken as well as see the show. I was able to see a few of the models getting their hair done before the show as well as get a great rundown on the inspiration for the hair. Claudia Li wanted to make sure that the hair was subtle to not distract from her collection which was full of bright, bold colors and full of texture. Topshop Snakeskin Print Blouse and Plaid Pants
This outfit and print combo has got to probably be my favorite that I wore during NYFW. I had planned to wear this outfit during the day but when the weather threw me for a curveball on day three I ended up changing into this to stay warm. I absolutely love this pink snakeskin print blouse paired with my green and pink plaid asymmetrical waist pants. They're both from Topshop. NYFW Diary: FW19 Day Three
So day three would have been my busiest day but unfortunately just like last season I ended up being sick. What started out the day before continued to get exacerbated throughout the day. I didn’t feel all that well in the morning but there were two shows early on in my day that I wasn’t going to miss no matter what! Again, like last season Custo Barcelona and Son Jung Wan were the two I couldn’t skip. Custo’s show ended up being my first show of the day which was really nice.
