Day four I was finally feeling like myself again. The nausea I was feeling going down the elevator was pretty much gone. Sunday was my lightest day and even though I stayed through Monday, it was my last day of shows and events this NYFW season. I had backstage coverage in the morning with Claudia Li as well as her show right afterwards. I covered this separately in this blog post because I didn’t want to have to condense it down and not give you the full coverage that I could.
After Claudia Li I attended Hakan Akkaya’s show. This was the first season I got to see his show and I was loving the 80’s glam rock band vibes! Dramatic shoulders, sequins, rockstuds, velvet, thigh high boots, ooh my! The collection was so fun and the music went perfectly. Definitely felt like I left a fashion rock concert and I loved it!
What do you think about the collection? Do you have a favorite look?! Mine has got to be the one shoulder sequin sleeve and velvet dress or the insane exaggerated multi-print jacket dress and leopard print thigh high boots!
After Hakan Akkaya, I had an event with Redken at Arlo Soho. They had a styling suite at the newly located Cutler Salon inside of the Arlo Soho and then a fun igloo lounge in the courtyard at Arlo. It was the perfect post show stop, as I got a hair touch up along with some light bites and a bit of chat time with some other influencers before taking off for the evening. To get my outfit details check out Wednesday’s post!
For my last dinner this NYFW I met up with another blogger and we headed to Nomo Soho. It’s becoming a NYFW tradition, as I’ve gone for dinner and drinks at least one time each season for the past few seasons, and I’m not made about it one bit! their food is always so yummy, and I love the vibe! I’ve been checking the prices on JIFU for next season to be sure that I can snag a room at the best price. If you’re interested in saving money on travel bookings definitely check out JIFU travel (invite only wholesale travel club) with no strings attached on one of my buddy passes for free unlimited bookings for 6 months.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
