Thanks to my wholesale travel club we were able to book a last minute family trip to North Lake Tahoe. I got a killer deal on our hotel, Northstar Lodge. I booked a luxury suite for us and saved $135 off the lowest price listed online. It's addicting to search for deals and book trips, even if they're short. We did a three day, two night trip since Tahoe isn't too far from us. When we arrived to Northstar Lodge we were pleasantly surprised when they had upgraded our room to a two bedroom, two bathroom family suite. The room was ... Read more...
Family Fun at North Lake Tahoe
A few weekends ago Justin and I took Mason to North Lake Tahoe for the first time. We've been numerous times by ourselves, going on an annual trip with our friends, sans kids, so we decided it was time to see Lake Tahoe as a family. I knew this trip would be way different than our previous ones and I was looking forward to experiencing all the family fun that Northstar and North Lake Tahoe have to offer. I love Lake Tahoe during the summer. Probably more than I love it in the winter. While it is a beautiful winter wonderland I'm ... Read more...
Riviera by Quattro at Four Seasons Palo Alto
This past weekend Justin and I took a mini staycation in Palo Alto at the Four Seasons Palo Alto to experience their new Riviera by Quattro themed al fresco dining. They hosted us for the night in one of their King rooms so we could take advantage of all that the Four Seasons has to offer. We enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool on Saturday afternoon with poolside cabana service, and a light lunch since we were gearing up for a lovely dinner at Riviera by Quattro that evening. For lunch I had a frosé with a quinoa ... Read more...
What to do With a Long Weekend in Boise, Idaho
This past weekend I was in Boise, Idaho for the launch party for the travel company I am a founding member affiliate of. I'd never been to Boise, Idaho before so I was looking forward to exploring this active and outdoorsy city. I will say that Boise, or what I got to see of it, reminded me a lot of Denver, Colorado! This past weekend, unfortunately, it was raining most of my trip so I was unable to go an a hike as originally planned nor did I go on one of the many wine tasting tours. So what did I do while in Boise...I ate my way ... Read more...
The Perfect Little White Dress
You probably remember seeing this little white dress before. I wore it during NYFW back in February. I styled it of course, way differently with OTK boots and a fun pop of color coat. When I bought this dress at the beginning of the year I knew I would be able to style it through the seasons. A little white dress is a closet must-have in my opinion and this rouched and puff sleeve version was calling my name. At only $85 the cost per wear on it has already been more than worth it! I love finding versatile pieces that can be styled ... Read more...
