This past weekend Justin and I took a mini staycation in Palo Alto at the Four Seasons Palo Alto to experience their new Riviera by Quattro themed al fresco dining. They hosted us for the night in one of their King rooms so we could take advantage of all that the Four Seasons has to offer.
We enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool on Saturday afternoon with poolside cabana service, and a light lunch since we were gearing up for a lovely dinner at Riviera by Quattro that evening. For lunch I had a frosé with a quinoa salad and Justin had a beer with his hot dog. The sun was shining and the pool was popping!! There were so many people out lounging and enjoying the afternoon! I was honestly a little surprised at how many people were there, only because the weekends in the Peninsula are normally slower than during the week. But there were a number of larger parties taking advantage of the gorgeous weather and amazing service that the Four Seasons always provides.
Dinner at Riviera by Quattro was amazing!! I love how the Four Seasons is able to transform their outdoor space. The Riviera by Quattro theme left you feeling like you were dining in the Italian Riviera. Justin and I ordered the grilled octopus with ohioory salad and the heirloom tomato and truffled burrata flatbread to start. Both were absolutely delicious!! To drink I started with their Positano spritz followed by a nice glass of rosé! For my entree I had their pan roasted halibut which was so good and Justin had the lamb chop scottadito, which he said was the best lamb he’s ever had! For dessert we got a selection of cheeses to share along with their Jasmine Masters dessert. They also treated us to the signature desserts on the Riviera by Quattro menu. All I can say is this is a dinner we will remember for a long time!
On Sunday we had breakfast at Quattro. I tend to like to enjoy room service but Justin was feeling like going down to Quattro for breakfast, so we did. We shared a fresh fruit plate and I got a custom veggie omelet. I was so happy that they had oat milk so I also ordered an oat milk latte. Then it was back to the pool early so we could snag the best spot.
We enjoyed some sun bathing before I had a body treatment at the spa. I got to experience their special Espresso Limón slimming wrap. This detoxifying and firming treatment is guaranteed to leave your body looking sleek and smooth. I noticed a difference almost immediately after the treatment. It begins with dry body brushing, which I had never experienced before, to stimulate lymphatic drainage and detoxification. It’s followed by a house-made crushed espresso bean exfoliation that they make from the used espresso beans from Quattro. A European inspired Espresso Limón Slimming Oil is then applied to purify and tone the body. You get wrapped up to keep your body warm and allow the oil to seep into your skin while you get a scalp and foot massage. It was so relaxing! I left feeling incredible!!
Everything about our weekend away was made extra special by all the special touches the Four Seasons Palo Alto team does. Their customer service is above and beyond! I love that everyone seems to know your name and is constantly asking if there’s anything they can do for you. For such a large hotel, it’s so impressive that they can remember everyone staying with them. if you’re looking for a luxury vacation or staycation, I highly recommend checking out the Four Seasons Palo Alto. I promise you will leave feeling pampered and refreshed. I can’t wait to go back to the Four Seasons Palo Alto for another staycation!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you enjoyed the post!! And a big thank you to the Four Seasons Palo Alto for hosting us this past weekend and giving us the VIP treatment, experiencing the Riviera by Quattro and for my incredible spa treatment!
