Happy Monday y’all! The first day back from a long weekend is always a toughie, and I definitely have a case of the Monday Blues. New Years weekend was jam packed spending time with family and friends, which is the perfect way to start off the new year. After this weekend, I’ve got a feeling 2016 is going to be pretty amazing!! Justin and I have booked our first trip, which for us is pretty great since we typically don’t get to travel very far together. The last time we went out of the country together was for our honeymoon which was three years ago! So I’m pretty excited to get to spend a week cruising the Caribbean in March stopping in Haiti and Jamaica. Because after all this cold weather we’ve been experiencing I’m looking forward to being somewhere warm!! But at the same time being in the cold weather means being bundled up which I don’t mind. This cross front sweater by Skunkfunk is super stylish and cozy which is perfect for the weather we’ve been experiencing in the Bay Area lately. It pairs perfectly with some skinny jeans and booties. Sometimes, the simplest outfits are the best outfits. You don’t need to over dress this outfit, layering some dainty necklaces is enough to tie it all together. I love how perfectly these two necklaces go together. The shorter one is from House of Harlow and the longer necklace is from Melinda Maria.
