The days are starting to get cooler which means one thing, time for some fall layering. When the weather changes I’m not always ready or willing to give up some of my summer staples. Layering for fall is the perfect way to get more wear out of your lighter-weight clothing. This shirtdress was a favorite throughout the summer months and I wanted to wear it the other day, so I threw on a sweater and a belt to add some shape, wore a pair of tights (the first time this season) and borrowed a pair of my husbands tall thick wool socks to wear under my boots, but love how they stick out the top and the grey wool ties the socks and sweater together. And don’t just layer your clothes this fall, layer your jewelry too. I met the lovely Marrin Costello while is was in New York for Fashion Week. I got a sneak peek of Marrin’s Stoned Collection at a pop-up shop in New York and fell head-over-heels in love. I was so excited when she wanted to collaborate with me and was willing to let me purchase her new collection before it’s available, just 4 days to go till these beauties could be yours!
