So I’ll be honest, I’ve got a major case of wanderlust! This year Justin and I have planned so many trips to only have to cancel them for one reason or another. We were supposed to go to Jamaica after our friends wedding in Florida but then we found out we were pregnant and definitely couldn’t go due to Zika virus. Oh and Justin was starting his EMT course and found out he couldn’t miss as many classes as he would have if we went on the trip so then our other travel plans also had to be postponed till after his course was complete. Then later during the summer we were going to go to Catalina Island but had to cancel because of Justin’s drill schedule so our multi mini-moons ended up being just the one mini babymoon to Pismo Beach. We haven’t been on a big vacation since our honeymoon and I’m just itching to go somewhere far away with him. Now we’ve got baby Mason, so as you could imagine until we’re comfortable and in a routine we won’t be traveling. Though I am praying we can go somewhere overseas with Mason in the New Year. So I’m done rambling about my current travel situation (or lack thereof) and here’s my gift guide for the jetsetter who I’ve got my travel envy from.
I know that I’ve shared the Evian facial water before but it honestly is one of my favorite travel companions! After a long flight you know you never feel your best and a few little sprays of the Evian water just gives you that refresh you’re looking for. Some airlines still provide blankets that you can use on their flight but I don’t know about you but I never really want to use them because you don’t know who used them before you. Yes they clean them before they repackage them but still…so gifting that jet setter in your life their own personal travel blanket is the perfect gift of comfort. Traveling now especially with Instagram it’s all about getting that perfect picture but you don’t want to bring along your nice camera only for it to get potentially ruined. Buying a nice leather camera bag is a thoughtful gift that she will surely love. Your passport might have a bunch of stamps in it but how boring and impersonal is that cover? So gifting someone a super cute passport sleeve is a cute gift idea. I love my Clarisonic but packing it away in my bag can sometimes get bulky. That’s why Clarisonic made the Mia Fit; it’s so much smaller and so much easier to take with you when you travel making it a great gift. While vacationing is fun traveling for work can sometimes get lonely and you can miss that comfort from home. Gifting a cozy pair of socks can bring your jet setter that little bit of extra comfort while they’re away. Your luggage gets banged around when you travel often so gifting a heavy duty suitcase is an amazing gift that will last for years and will always remind them of you whenever they use it! Bag tags are typically boring but they don’t have to be. Gifting a cute set is a fun stocking stuffer idea. Staying connected is important and especially when you’re traveling your cellphone battery seems to die much quicker. This cute hot pink case it’s actually a portable charger and key when you’re traveling or keeping in your purse for everyday use. If your jet setting lady doesn’t have a neck pillow yet then it’s a must to gift them this holiday season. I like to travel organized and so these cute separate bags are great way to keep your lady organize and separate her dirty laundry from her clean clothes and keep her heels from snagging one of her blouses. And an eye mask is another great gift for your traveling gal. It will help her sleep better on the plane as well as in her hotel room.
What things do you take with you when you travel that you think would make great gifts for the holidays?
