Now that I’ve been given the ok by my doctor to start working out again I am on a mission to strengthen my abdominal muscles and slim back down. While my body is in this transition it’s been a little more difficult to get dressed up. Granted most of the time I am at home wearing my PJ’s. When I do leave the house, I want to get dressed up but my options are limited. My maternity jeans are definitely getting too loose but I can’t yet fit back into my skinny jeans. Most of my tops don’t fit me the same because my chest is significantly larger than it was before. So most of the styles I own just don’t look nearly as good on me, even if they fit, because they are designed for smaller chests.
This Gingham wrap blouse I purchased with the hope that it would work for me now as I’m in transition but will also fit nicely once my body goes back to the way it was before…but I’m being honest with myself and know it might take a while before I look the way I did before I was pregnant.
I’ve seen this blouse styled so many different ways and love seeing it on so many other bloggers I know and follow but I honestly don’t know how they all are able to wear it without a camisole underneath!! Maybe it’s just my current proportions but I was not comfortable, at all, wearing it without one. I like layering this gingham wrap blouse with a camisole that has some trim details like this one I got from Target. I could also see styling this with a lace bralette or even a fun strappy one for a more edgy look.
