When you know, you just know. When I was shopping online for NYFW I spotted this gingham and ruffles ensemble. The gingham ruffle sleeve blouse is from a completely different brand than this rainbow gingham and ruffle skort. They were both on MAJOR sale. I have an almost identical gingham and ruffle blouse in pink that I adore. I’ve worn it more times than I can count. So when I saw this blouse in blue I knew I had to have it. This skort caught my eye right away and this outfit came together in my mind. I had already purchased these white booties for fashion week. These were such a great buy and I’m loving the kitten heel bootie trend right now. I actually ended up buying two other pairs of kitten heel booties (both very different from this pair) because I’m into them that much.
My blouse and skort were not going to be able to ship to my home in time before I left for NYFW (last minute purchases) so I had them shipped to my hotel in Tribeca. Sadly, they didn’t arrive in time for my visit to Candytopia, the first night I arrived, like I had planned. Rush shipping failed me on this one! But thankfully this outfit couldn’t have fit in better with my surroundings on night three when I went to Gitano with my friend after a long day of shows and events.
What do you think about this gingham and ruffles look? Have I proven that I am the ruffles queen?!! I swear I wear clothes that aren’t ruffled but I just gravitate towards them so much. They’re like my fashion spirit animal (if that were to be a thing).
