My heart if full from spending time with our family and friends these past few days. The holiday festivities continue through this weekend and I am so thankful to the back to back long weekends for that! I was meaning to get this post out pre-Christmas but I was running late on everything so spent Christmas Eve Eve night last minute shopping before Christmas Eve with my side of the family and Christmas day with Justin’s side of the family. Not sure how your holiday traditions go or how you break up spending time with everyone but Justin and I, since we started dating, have always flip flopped the holidays. What I mean by that is that one year we spend Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve with my family we’d spend the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas day with Justin’s family; the next year, it would be the opposite. It’s worked out great for our families and it helps us out so we don’t feel like we are rushing from one home to the next and get to spend quality time with everyone. So for Christmas Eve this year we were in Livermore with my extended family. I wore this Red Valentino bow dress, opaque tights since it was freezing, my Nine West heels, my vintage fur collar cardigan and my sweet birthday present from Justin, my Chanel handbag! I rarely wear all black, and yes my cardigan is cream, but when I was warm and inside the house I took it off and hence wearing all black. But hey every now and again it just works and I was totally feeling this outfit for the holidays! Honestly this outfit would also be perfect for NYE!! If you’re headed out to dinner and dancing on NYE this outfit totally makes sense. Thankfully around the winter holidays there are so many parties to attend so many occasions to put on your party outfits!!!
