Ever since adding this long sleeve bodysuit into my closet, I have been finding more and more ways to style it. A long sleeve bodysuit is such a great outfit staple. They pair so nicely with high waist jeans or mini skirts and with minimal effort you look so put together. This long sleeve bodysuit that I got from Free People is so comfortable and the asymmetrical neckline is very chic. From running errands during the day, to going out to dinner at night this bodysuit does the trick!
I’ve already styled it more ways than I can count but today I wanted to show two easy ways to style a long sleeve bodysuit that with just a few swaps can take you from day to night! These styling tips are great to save for when you need help packing light for a trip. I always suggest packing pieces you know you can create multiple outfits with, without needing so many pieces to do it. For instance, I packed this bodysuit on my recent trip to Las Vegas and wore it during the day with jeans and then styled it at night for dinner out with my black mini skirts and tall boots. I shared that exact outfit in this post on my Instagram.
How to Style a Long Sleeve Bodysuit to take it from day to night
1. Start with a flattering pair of jeans. I picked my tummy control NYDJ high waist jeans because they’re not only comfortable but they SUCK.ME.IN!
2. Pick your shoes. For the daytime I’m all about flats, slides, or sneakers because let’s face it, I want to be comfortable when I’m running errands and/or chasing after my toddler! For night time just swap out those for heels. I went with a nude pump because it’s classic and makes me appear taller than I actually am.
3. Accessorize your look. For day it’s easy to just grab your bag and go. I always have a pair of sunglasses with me. These are from Tom Ford. They’re old but so, so good! I’m also a sucker for my reversible Tory Burch belt. It goes with everything! At night, I dressed it up with a coat to keep me warm and grabbed my clutch and we’re out the door to dinner. I decided to skip the belt to keep it simple yet chic.
