These Trina Turk pants are the perfect example of great pattern play. I love mixing prints and patterns {broken record} and these mini Berber stripe jacquard pants really do it for me. The pattern mixing is excellent and because they’re only white and purple, rather than multi-colored it allows me to pair them with lots of tops in my closet rather than just a few. I can easily play these up to wear on the weekend or tone them down during the work week like I did for this outfit. I love that my 3.1 Phillip Lim silk crop blouse just grazes the top of these high-waist pants. So that my skin didn’t peak through at work I chose to wear a cream shell underneath. I went with a different shade of white and cream, for the top and shoes so the crisp white of the pants really popped out. My purple, green and blue silk dyed necklace from Max Mara compliments the purple pattern in the pants and my burgundy leather handbag was the finishing touch this outfit needed to tie it all together, though I could have used my new Burberry berry colored handbag instead but I’m being patient and saving it for Fashion Week!
