I’m definitely getting into the holiday spirit over here and have found a few great dress options for this holiday season. So to kick off my holiday style guides, I’m styling this red mock neck dress from Nicole Miller. You can rent it at Rent the Runway or purchase online here or here. What attracted me to this dress was the classic cut in the front and the fun little cut-out in the back. I love the detail on the 3/4 length sleeves and the fitted top definitely shows off my new mom chest 😉 I’m still learning how to dress my new body and one major style tip is if you’re more endowed on the top you need to find clothing that’s more fitted to accentuate it and not end up looking big all around. The fit and flare style of this Nicole Miller dress is perfect for those (me included) who are a little self conscious of their mid-section. I’m still working to tone it back up since being pregnant and I know it’s going to take a while till it’s back down to what it used to be. This dress makes me feel like I look good, is super comfortable (because of the stretch fabric), and I’ll be able to hide my holiday dinner and dessert. It’s wins all around!! Plus the red in these plaid pumps pop with this dress and are the perfect holiday heel. I love a good plaid and I’m so happy these heels were brought back this year! They can easily be dressed up or down and are perfect for any holiday party you might be attending. They’re also really comfortable because the heel isn’t too high on them.
