Justin and I attended the second annual Art Silicon Valley San Francisco (Art SV/SF) event on Thursday night during their VIP preview event. The event runs this Friday through Sunday (October 8-11th) at the San Mateo Event Center. Thanks to one of their main sponsors, the Four Seasons Silicon Valley, for the Platinum VIP experience! Ruinart Champagne was the host for the evening, and other main sponsor, and so we enjoyed complimentary glasses of Ruinart champagne while we wandered around the event center checking out all of the different galleries showcasing some of their pieces. There were so many incredible pieces on display, and of course for sale, really something for everyone taste. I found a number of works I would have absolutely loved to bring home with us! Here are just some of my favorite pieces.
Note about the event: Art SV/SF is Art Miami’s International Contemporary and Modern Art Fair on the West Coast and is centrally located between Silicon Valley and San Francisco, hence the name. This year they are showcasing important artworks of the 20th and 21st centuries in collaboration with some of the world’s most respected galleries and art institutions. And in keeping with Art Miami’s high standards of quality, the Fair offers a sophisticated, curated setting that showcases blue-chip Post-War and Modern works as well art by top Contemporary, Emerging and New Media artists. This is definitely a must see, so if you are unsure of what you are doing the rest of this weekend I highly recommend you attend! General admission today 10/10/15 from 11am-7pm and tomorrow 10/11/15 from 11am-6pm.
