I took my patriotic look to the next level, from day to night, by adding some bold stars and stripes. This scarf was given to me by my husband a while ago and I thought, “when the heck am I going to wear this?” There’s very few times such a bold scarf can be worn, and the 4th of July weekend is such a time. So when Friday afternoon turned to early evening I had to bundle up. I’ve added my stars and stripes scarf over my Rory Beca striped top I had on during the day, swapped my shorts for some skinny jeans and added my textured denim jacket to complete the look. I don’t think I could have created a more patriotic outfit than this, without starting to look incredibly cheesy.
