This sweater skirt was such a great find! It’s under $10 and the quality is really good. I’ve worn and washed it a few times already and it’s held up which is always my main concern when buying real budget items. So now that I’ve had the chance to wear and style it a few times, I figured I’d share them with you! Let me know which of the three ways to style a sweater skirt is your favorite.
How to Style a Sweater Skirt
Grey on Grey
This grey sweater skirt also has a matching grey sweater. The one I bought goes with grey sweater pants as well. I feel like the skirt and pants are a much better buy as the sweater is slightly itchy. That being said, I still decided to keep it because I wanted to wear the separates as a pair! I’ve also worn this skirt to work with a grey v-neck t-shirt and like it just as much that way. Matching sets are fun to wear though and this look is perfect for winter with my faux fur white combat boots (a big trend for 2020).
Sneakers and a Turtleneck
I love how chic this skirt looks paired with a dark burgundy turtleneck and my golden goose sneakers! It’s such an easy outfit to wear for work or the weekend. I’ve always been a fan of high low dressing and this outfit definitely is just that. If you don’t have it in your budget to spend on the GG sneakers I think this pair (in any of the color combos) or this pair would look awesome!
High Heels and a Leather Moto
A leather moto jacket instantly elevates any outfit and paired with feminine high heels and this sweater skirt looks so much more chic and expensive than it actually is! The midi length and weight of the sweater material pairs well with edgy and feminine details. Consider adding this faux leather jacket to your closet if you don’t already have a similar option ready to be worn!
So again I ask, which of the three looks is your favorite?! I personally can’t decide because I love all 3 looks for different reasons. I’ve always loved getting pieces I can work into my wardrobe and style so many different ways. This midi length sweater skirt is definitely a piece I can do that with, and without breaking the bank or budget to do so!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you enjoyed this post.
