I feel like January flew by and I didn’t have much time for the blog. I just got back from Las Vegas for a trade show and realized that Valentine’s Day is a few days away! I’m rounding up a short list of great Valentine’s Day gifts for him and her. These are pretty things you both can enjoy. Do you normally exchange gifts with your significant other? Justin and I typically go out for a date night or do a romantic dinner at home. But this year I decided to spice up Valentine’s Day with some small, sweet and sexy things (not one in the same) we both can enjoy.
1. Lace lingerie – wow your significant other with a new red lace number. I decided to pick out a pink lace bodysuit. He’s sure to love it and you will too because you will feel extra sexy, feminine, and beautiful. Let’s love and embrace our beautiful bodies, regardless of where you are in your journey. It’s all about body positivity, am I right! Stop noticing your flaws (or the ones you think you have) and see ourselves the way our loved ones do and that’s beautiful and sexy!!
2. Sweet treats – Justin and I are big fans of macarons and so I like to pick out some unique and special macarons for any and every occasion! But, I stumbled on these yummy and beautiful treats from Maggie Louise Confections and think they would make a wonderful gift for someone special on Valentine’s Day or any of these other options.
3. Warm and cozy – from cozy blankets to wrap yourselves up in and cuddle, fuzzy his and her robes, or microwavable slippers to keep your feet warm and cozy there are so many gifts options that you and your partner can enjoy while in each others company.
4. Breakfast in bed – who wouldn’t want a breakfast in bed made by their one and only! Make it extra Valentine’s Day by making heart shaped waffles or pancakes with a nice glass of bubbly and all the berries your heart could desire. And for all the home bodies, a pretty breakfast in bed tray could not only elevate breakfast in bed on Valentine’s Day but be a wonderful addition to your home decor.
5. Sweet smells – perfume and cologne are great Valentine’s Day gifts. Do you or your significant other have a signature smell? If so, you can always stick to what you/they know and love and maybe get them a bigger bottle of the same scent or if you are always on the hunt for a new fragrance there are some pretty and very Valentine’s Day fragrances that would make a wonderful gift!
6. Starbucks lovers – for all those Starbucks lovers I’ve found the perfect gift idea and no it’s not coffee beans!! I found a few retailers that sell custom bedazzled Starbucks cups. Think JLo’s bling Starbucks cup but custom made to your specifications. You can choose your colors and if you want a name or initials on the back of your cup. How cool is that?! You won’t be able to get your custom order in time for VDay now but you can always include a picture with a card and then when their custom gift arrives it will be an added surprise to see what you created with one of these artists!!
