I don’t know about you but some of my favorite tops in my closet right now are crop tops. I invested in one really nice, quality crop top from Nicholas so even in colder temps I want to be able to continue to wear it. There are a few ways to wear a crop top year round and here is one way. I like to layer my crop tops even in warmer weather or pair with a high-waist bottom because I’m not big on showing my midriff. Layering a long sleeve button-down under a long sleeve crop top adds warmth. Swap out a lighter weight bottom for some pants, I chose my faux-leather ones for added warmth and throw on a wool or cashmere scarf if the temps start to drop. In NorCal temperatures rarely drop low enough during the day to warrant a coat but adding a leather jacket on top is a great way to stay warm when the sun starts to go down. I love this silk plaid top because it super versatile and the colors really make it great for all seasons.
Tell me, would you wear a crop top in the winter?
