As much as I love lace, in the winter it’s not to practical unless of course you pair it with something heavier like wool. The other day I wanted so badly to wear my lace dress but knew I would be freezing if I did so, so I decided to layer it with my wool and cashmere sweater from Italy. I’ve had this sweater since high school when I took a trip to Italy with my family. Can you say good investment? I think so!
The best part of this outfit was getting to spend the afternoon with my mom at the Seascape Beach Resort in Aptos and not feeling too chilled even though it was breezy and a little overcast.
What summer clothes do you dream of wearing during the cool winter days? I bet if you pair them correctly you can get away with wearing them even in the wrong season. I dare you to try it!
