I often find myself getting tired of my wardrobe even though I’ve worked so hard to collect high quality classic pieces that I can wear for years and years. My shopping motto is definitely quality over quantity. That being said sometimes I just wish I had more variety! Don’t get me wrong, I barely have enough space to fit all the clothes I do have but its not always easy to break away from the usual combinations.
Yesterday I decided for a casual Friday look by dressing up a pair of distressed denim with my leather top and pops of color with my necklace and shoes. While I don’t usually wear distressed jeans to work since I don’t think it is very work appropriate (even for a startup), I feel that the combination makes for a good casual Friday ensemble.
What do you think, did I make it work and would you ever wear distressed denim to the office?
