How is it already October?! I know we’re already a couple days in but I feel like September flew on by and now I have to start thinking about Halloween and costumes, and fall decor. But before I focus on all the things, I need to quickly chat with you about the Zoe by Rachel Zoe Collection for Macy’s. I was super excited to hear that Rachel Zoe was designing an affordable collection exclusive to Macy’s. I have been loving the designer collections they’ve been featuring and this one has got to be my favorite thus far.
As you all know, I love Rachel Zoe! But, her Zoe by Rachel Zoe Collection was hit and miss with me. I know not all pieces will fit everyone but some of the ones I was really looking forward to just didn’t look right on me. But then the cut on others were a total win, making it hard to narrow down and pick my favorite. This dress ended up being the winner for two reasons: 1. The tweed gave me Chanel vibes. 2. This dress fit nicely and I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. The cut is so classic and the color palette couldn’t be more perfect for fall. Right now while the temps are all over the place it’s perfect with booties. When it finally decides to cool down and stay cool, I’ll be breaking out my OTK boots with this one. Possibly even sport a pair of sparkle tights with this dress for a holiday party.
There were a few other pieces from the collection I need to share, even though they didn’t come home with me. This houndstooth dress was super flattering. I love the cut and the zipper detail. This floral blouse was very pretty on. I loved the peplum detail and I would totally pair it with skinny jeans. These houndstooth culottes were also super flattering on me.
