I realize that it’s been a while since I’ve posted a recipe on the blog. Since I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately I thought it only fitting to share my favorite early morning concoction that tastes great and is sure to get your day going on the right foot!
Kale and Banana Smoothie – for one
1-2 bananas (depending on my mood)
2 cups fresh kale
1 small gala apple
1 cup non-fat greek yogurt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4-1/2 cup coconut water
I don’t actually measure anything out so you can give or take on any of these ingredients to your liking; these are guesstimates. Enjoy!
