The 1901 brand exclusive to Nordstrom reminds me of a mix between J.Crew and Draper James. It’s Nordstrom’s latest in house clothing line named after the year the first Nordstrom store opened. I love the mix of classic and preppy cuts and styles. When I first saw this blouse in store I thought it was probably from J.Crew. Especially with all the pieces that were around it in the store.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was a new line I had never heard of, 1901. I ended up checking out the entire collection online after I left the store with this top. I’m not typically a preppy person. I love feminine clothing but with a bit of an edge. But at the same time, I do love to mix and match styles to create my own look signature to me so I never really stay within specific styles. I have everything from super trendy to classic pieces that will never go out of style.
