Happy Monday! If you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know that I decided to take a super last minute trip to Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend. My husband was headed out there for a bachelor party and since we had the points I decided to fly out with him so we could take advantage of our buddy pass for him and then booked myself a room at a different hotel so I wasn’t encroaching on the party. Mason and I had a great time playing at the pool and walking around Old Town Scottsdale. Justin met up with us after everyone left on Sunday morning and we spent the rest of the day together. It was a lot of fun for a quick trip and honestly I don’t know if I could have managed with Mason in that Arizona heat for much longer.
Today’s outfit is perfect for those hot days. I often don’t wear shorts for going out at night but even here in the Bay Area it can get really hot in the summer, especially over the hill in the Peninsula. These faux leather shorts have been a favorite since last September when I got them for NYFW. I love them paired with a soft silky top. And when I wear them out, I do like wearing nude or blush heels to really accentuate my legs. Don’t they just look longer than usual?
Just curious, do you ever wear shorts to go out at night during the summer? And I don’t mean to a country concert because that’s more than appropriate but more so for dinner and drinks.
