It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had to get dressed up for the office but shortly after the New Year I took on a temporary job, which I’ve been working the past few months that has required me to wear office appropriate outfits and not just for Zoom meetings. It’s been nice putting together real outfits everyday for work and dressing my growing bump! It’s crazy how fast I popped out this time around. Here are some bump friendly workwear outfit ideas for you with some of my recent favorite looks I’ve worn to the office. I’m including links to similar products since a lot of these pieces that I’ve styled are old but I’m marking which ones are exact for you so it’s obvious.
Let me know which look is your favorite!
5 Bump Friendly Workwear Outfit Ideas:
This is probably one of my favorite outfits! It’s so simple and classic. My t-shirt dress is non-maternity. I’ve had it for a few years but works great with the bump. Here are a few available options you can get your hands on now. Also, my sleeveless trench has been a closet staple since I was pregnant with Mason. My sock booties have also been in my closet for years. All these closet staples in one chic office appropriate look no matter if you’re pregnant or not!

My sister-in-law gave me this non-maternity dress to wear and it has been perfect for my growing bump. I’ve been able to wear it my entire pregnancy so far and I am currently 30 weeks (these photos were taken a while ago). Just like with my sock booties these black leather booties are old. I bought them from Saks OFF Fifth. They’re Coach and they honestly still look brand new even though I’ve worn them a bunch. Thankfully my feet are only now starting to swell a little bit in the evenings so I’ve been able to continue to wear all my favorite shoes.

These maternity pants were my first maternity purchase when I started my temp job. I wanted to look put together and professional and didn’t want to be trying to fit into pre-pregnancy pants and being uncomfortable after a full day of wearing them. I have them in black and grey and really love the fit. My top is super old but thankfully you can always find a nice floral blouse so I’ll be linking a few options. My pumps are from Nine West and they’re super old. I’ve had them for at least 6-7 years, maybe longer. They’re a classic pump with a fun block heel.

I so wish my poncho was still in stock. My mom bought it for me after my bump started to pop. It’s one of those tops that is normally so oversized that she purchased a size xs. I’ve had so much room for the bump to grow. It’s a great non-maternity option that works wonderfully if you’re pregnant or not. These jeans have been the only non-maternity jeans I’ve been comfortably wearing. I am using a hair tie to keep them together as well as a bellaband to hide that the button isn’t done and that’s been working great to keep my jeans up and not show off the gap in the front. This wash is currently unavailable, though I hope they bring it back now that we’re nearing summer.

Here is the grey version of my same black maternity work pants. I’m petite and so they are definitely a little long but work great with heels or boots. I liked the subtle floral print of this maternity thermal top. It’s super comfortable but I forgot how stretched out some maternity clothes can get. I should have bought this in the XS because the size small looks a little silly by the end of the day. This cardigan is so cozy. I own it in two colors and love wearing it out or lounging around. It’s a. great item to have in your car for when it gets windy or starts to cool down on warmer days.
