Being a very busy woman, every now and again, I wake up and want to push my alarm back, and back, and back. {insert panic} How am I ever going to get ready and out the door on time after having slept in an extra 30 minutes (or sometimes more). If this sounds like you, don’t fret, here’s a five minute makeup routine that will have you out the door and right on time!
Step 1:
Start with a freshly cleansed face. Apply a CC cream with moisturizing agents and SPF, like this one from Studio Gear.
Step 2:
Take a matte eye shadow, like NARS Blondie, and apply to your eyebrows. You can brush them first to help define the shape of your brow before applying, or not, it’s up to you.
Step 3:
Apply a light shimmery eye shadow like this Bare Minerals one.
Step 4:
Apply your mascara. I suggest one that is black and designed to enhance your lashes like this Maybelline Colossal Mascara.
Step 5:
Take a large brush and apply your blush/bronzer combo. This Physicians Formula set is awesome! I just mix all colors with my brush at once and get great results.
Step 6:
Use a stain on your lips. I love this one from Benefit because it is so easy to apply with the brush and then purse your lips together to get the color even on both the top and bottom. You can apply a second time for a brighter color.
And just like that, you’re done!
