I believe I moved to the Peninsula at just the right time. After landing a job in Los Altos and commuting for months I knew it was what I needed to do to stay sane but the thought of never returning to my beloved San Francisco was a hard pill to swallow.
Thankfully this “sleepy town” is getting a much needed wake up call! With businesses like the Exploratorium coming soon onto State Street and new boutiques onto Main Street the dynamic of the downtown area is definitely changing.
SFMOMA On The Go, recently launched Project Los Altos where artists exhibit their works around Los Altos inside designated exhibitions or around downtown at different outdoor locations.
The other day I took a stroll through downtown to check out each of the outside exhibits. It reminded me that art comes in many forms and sometime it even leaves you questioning.
