I’m kinda excited about this collaborative post with some of my blogger friends I met at LuckyFabb! We’re doing a blog tour and last week we made a stop at the beautiful, best friend duo which is The Fashion Cookbook! Head over to their blog to see their answers to the same questions below!
1. What am I working on?
As a blogger, I am always working on something. If it’s planning my next photoshoot or designer collaboration, there is always something to plan for and look forward to. Right now, what I am looking forward to the most is New York Fashion Week! It’s been a few years since my last NYFW experience and I am super happy and excited to be going back. It will be my first time at Lincoln Center since the last time I attended it was the very last show at Bryant Park. An experience I will never forget!
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
That’s a difficult question only because there are so many inspirational and beautiful women doing the same thing that I am, and it can be hard to differentiate yourself from the rest. I think that I am different because when I write about my outfit posts I share my reasoning why. I like to push the boundaries when it comes to fashion. I love to mix prints, mix metals, and well mix anything. As long as you feel confident in your outfit choice, you will look confident and put together.
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I dress how I feel and so I write how I feel. Sometimes my posts are more serious but most times they have a playful undertone. As a Lifestyle and Fashion blogger I feel that writing about what’s relevant in my life works best. Sharing my fashion tips and tricks, is something I enjoy as well as sharing my experiences at events that are relevant to myself is relevant to the blog.
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
My best ideas come to me at the most random times. I will take notes on my iPhone of posts I want to write about or things I need to do. I mainly write my posts at night after work (since I have a day job that pays the bills) or on the weekends. My creative process always works around my life, what I’m choosing to wear, or what I am doing. I love that my writing is natural and just flows, is that cheesy or what? Well it’s the truth!
I hope you enjoyed my stop of the blog tour and continue the tour next week with First Came Fashion!
