Top: Anthropologie, similar. Skirt: Parker, similar skater skirt. Shoes: Sole Society, sold out, similar. Necklace: c/o Rue Gembon.
This coral skirt by Parker New York was such a great purchase. I’ve had it in my closet for over a year or so and I keep coming back to it. It transitions so well between the seasons. I have to say that the skater skirt is super flattering. Unlike the pencil, sheath, or fit-and-flare skirt you can eat as much as you want and no one will be able to see your food belly; something I know I consider when deciding what I am going to wear. I paired my coral skater skirt with another oldie but goodie, my floral tank from Anthropologie. When layered over the skater skirt this dual patterned silk and cotton floral tank starts to look more like a peplum top. This look feels super summery and works for a weekday or weekend and if you add a lightweight denim or leather jacket this look easily transitions into the evening! As you can see here and here, I have worn this skirt a number of ways and each time it looks different from the last.
