When I first saw this Ostwald Helgason skirt on Shopbop I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I absolutely love the colorblocking in this skirt and how the diagonal seams bring a modern edge to this fit-and-flare skirt. So when I finally broke down and bought it, as you could imagine, I couldn’t wait to wear it. The best part about colorblocking is that with more than one color in the skirt you are likely to find many items that work with it. The rust/orange/peach color family seems to be my go-to color of the season. It seems to be in a lot of the new pieces I have been purchasing leaving me with lots of outfit pairings to go with this skirt.
This skirt is on the dressier side so when deciding to wear this skirt to work, I chose to pair it with a cotton tank thats been in my closet for years. The grey floral appliqué tank top has some style and works great against the sheen of the skirt.
You might remember I wore this same combination to the Joie + Nars event in San Francisco a few weeks ago. I can’t wait to pair this fit-and-flare skirt with my new Nicholas crop top and this lip print Joie tank!
