It’s so nice to meet other bloggers from other places and do some awesome collaborations. I may only have met them virtually but I feel like I know them because we share a common passion for blogging and in many cases I’m in groups with them online. When I decided to start my Eat, Shop, Do series I thought what better way than to collaborate with some of my blogger friends and in the process learn more about them, where they live, and share with all of you their go-to’s in their city.

They also have a pretty good happy hour too- hello truffle fries! I love going to The Henry because it literally has so much to offer and is a great spot to sit down and do blog work or catch up with friends over brunch! This place is a must try! Take food pics here!
Desserts please! Ruze’ Cake House Old Town Scottsdale
I can’t say enough about my love for Ruze Cake House! Since attending their grand opening about 2 years ago and tasting my very first macaron and been in love ever since! My motto for Ruze is- if you don’t know now you know! I introduce so many people to this SUPER aesthetically pleasing spot! They not only make BEAUTIFUL macarons, and amazing jalapeño lemonade, (YOU WON’T REGRET GETTING THIS) but they can custom make ANYTHING your heart desires! SHOP
Scottsdale and Phoenix have great malls but I’m all about supporting my local boutiques and it’s great because you get to form amazing connections for life while enjoying a favorite past time!
1. T.Madison! Chandler
T.Madison is owned by mega babe Taylor Madison! She is the sweetest person around! Her SUPER aesthetically pleasing store is actually inside of her family’s home store called FOUND by domestic bliss. T. Madison started as a pop up shop concept that grew quickly in 7 months that her family had to reconstruct the store so T.Madison could have a forever home! T.Madison has all the trendy goods with a touch of home furnishings and gifts! I have to say T. Madison is actually located in Chandler, Az but I just HAD to share one of my favorite places! You know you want to stop by and say hey here!
2. Vida Moulin! Phoenix
Vida Moulin is owned by another great gal; Chantell! It’s one of those shops that you just need and want everything! Everything at Vida Moulin is curated in such a personal way and I love that feeling! From clothes, to gifts, cards and more this cute boutique in Phoenix is a must check out spot! Go shopping here!
DO
Staycations – Here in phx, we are known to have the most amazing resorts with perfect views and I would be lying if I didn’t agree with that statement! Here are just a few places that you should consider when booking a hotel!
1. Mountain Shadows! North Scottsdale
True story: Mountain Shadows was once the escape resort in the 60’s that hosted popular movie actors and actresses! Mountain Shadows was rebuilt and it re-opened donning as an amazing yet modern get away from the hustle and bustle that is Scottsdale and Phoenix! On site, MS has a top of the line restaurant called Hearth 61, a health club called The Citizens Club, and even a golf course called The Short Course! You won’t want to miss out on staying here! Book your stay now!
2. The Saguaro Scottsdale! Old town Scottsdale
Most people know about The Saguaro Palm Springs! However, Arizona is hip too! With all the desert colors surrounding us, The Saguaro is our saving grace! At The Saguaro Scottsdale, every corner is instagramable- I mean what could be better? During the summer Arizona is known to be over 100 degrees, so what better way to stay cool than to throw pool parties and let me tell you The Saguaro Scottsdale throws the best! Amazing food, refreshing drinks, and colorful vibes, book The Saguaro Scottsdale on your next vacation!
3. Hike Camelback Mountain! Phoenix
Yes this is the mountain that looks like the camels back hence the name! Honestly I have only hiked Camelback once and got up a little more than half way, it was so worth it after all the stops of course! The view of all of Phoenix and it’s surrounding cites was just glorious! If you do end up hiking, go early in the morning especially during the summer months! Find trails here!
4. Visit SMoCA Aka: Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art Old Town Scottsdale
If you’re into art and don’t want to go to a huge art museum, you should visit the SMoCA! It’s definitely hidden in Old Town but it’s pretty awesome! There are always fun exhibits to check out when visiting! My favorite exhibit was the Ocean of Light Submergence- A Squidsoup Project” Around 8000 light bulbs were installed as the lights changed colors, it was magnificent to see! Did I mention it’s free on Sunday’s! Check out some upcoming exhibits here!
Thanks for reading Josie’s Scottsdale/Phoenix Eat, Shop, Do city guide! I hope you get to travel to sunny AZ soon and visit some of her favorite places!
