What makes a simple dress, not so simple? Embellishments. This embellished chambray dress is perfect for summer! It’s simple, easy, and lightweight, but the leafy vine bib front detailing is amazing! I also love how it cuts in, in the front and back, it’s actually really flattering especially for broader shoulders (like me). Pair this dress with some nude sandals and a great gold cuff and you’re all good to go! Because it’s been super hot/muggy here in the peninsula lately, I’ve been putting my hair up in a glam bun a lot more often to keep my hair off my neck. This look takes minutes, as easy as slipping on a dress, rolling your hair in a bun mold (or rolled sock), adding some accessories (minimal is required) and makes you look so put together, it’s almost a crime!
Since this look is really all about the dress, here’s a little backstory. Ever come across a site and wonder how you didn’t know about it sooner? Well that was me a few weeks ago with eShakti. There are many times that I see a dress and think to myself, “if only it were a little shorter” or “if only it hit right at my waist.” These problems are real. Not everyone fits the perfect mold and therefore need to go and get their clothing altered if they want them to fit them perfectly. eShakti allows you to customize their pieces to fit the way you want them to. I sent in my height, normal dress size, and requested that the dress hit right above the knee and kept everything else the same, why would you want to remove the embellishments, I don’t know?! But if you really wanted to you could submit your exact measurements. That’s pretty cool! So, if you’ve never checked them out before I’d highly recommend them!
