Besides the shows during NYFW I like to try and schedule meetings with the brands that I love and up and coming brands I am interested in knowing more about. It’s a great way to get a sneak peek of what’s coming up with the brand and also a behinds the scene look of the inspiration behind a collection. I had heard of Elaine Turner from some of my blogger friends who are based in Texas. Elaine Turner is based in Houston, TX and has received a lot of press for her handbags, shoes, jewelry and now clothing. Her Bella clutch is probably the most recognizable and she continues to carry it season after season. I absolutely love her bamboo detailing which you can see across her Bellaire clutch or around the heel of the Nicola boots. These booties caught my attention right away and I am in love with the brandy colored leather. These booties work so well with the Danni clutch, Jamie hobo, Taylor satchel, and many more!
