A good piece of clothing sometimes only needs a switch in accessories to take an outfit from day to night. This Erin Fetherston floral dress is one of those pieces. I’m obsessed with the print. It feels like a garden party in a dress and while I wore it to a trip to Calistoga it seemed to fit in perfectly. It’s feminine and fitted but not too short. For any quick weekend trip away it’s far to easy to want to over pack and cram a lot of pieces into a weekender bag. By packing a few key pieces with shoes and accessories to swap from day to night you’re able to minimize the amount of luggage you take with you. On our first day of wine tasting and checking out Dutch Henry Winery I wanted to wear this floral number and didn’t want to change for dinner. Swapping the sandals for heels, pale handbag for a metallic clutch, and adding a denim jacket I quickly and easily transformed this look from daytime appropriate to a perfect date night look.
